Our Educators

The dedicated teachers at Twin Hills Pre-school are passionate about the education and care of every child attending the kindergarten. They are committed to ensuring a nurturing and inclusive learning environment, providing activities that are fun, stimulating, positive and challenging.

Each child at Twin Hills Pre-school is valued as an individual with endless potential and capabilities, having creativity and a natural curiosity and the desire to explore and learn. They are also respected as important members of the group with much to contribute.

The educators partner with families, encouraging input from parents and caregivers in a supportive and respectful environment. They draw upon and incorporate within the programs the unique experiences and practices of each family, resulting in a rich learning experience for all.

As a close knit team, staff support each other and work cohesively together to develop and implement the programs respecting the ideas, contributions and beliefs of one another.

Katrina

3 Year-Old Group Educator

Katrina is the 3 year-old group teacher.

Katrina has worked in both community run pre-schools and large, school based ELC settings for the past 7 years after her own children ignited her interest early years education. She has worked in a variety of roles including lead teacher, support teacher and educator.

Katrina has a passion for working with 3 year-olds in their first year of formal education. She believes that by working in partnership with families, children can develop confident dispositions for lifelong learning.

Katrina holds a Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education from RMIT University.
